“I discussed openly my suffering the way I feel that I am unable to share with anyone here sometimes you really need a person who just listen to you who don’t compare you with anyone. Through these sessions I came to know about myself, my identity and most importantly my life. I am happy that I found myself again with more energy and strength”.

“I am glad that I was able to attend these sessions and convinced my friend to join and she has benefitted a lot as well from these sessions. I have also attended Greenzone sessions and gained valuable knowledge, and I transferred that knowledge to my grandchildren, and this philosophy should be introduced from childhood”.

“In the past few months, we have not only been learning various empowering skills through workshops, but have also shared the innermost challenges, struggles, pains, and sometimes, joys. What has been shared in our judgment-free, warm, and yet realistic and action-oriented sessions, has stayed with us. This has helped us express ourselves fearlessly and, at the same time, made us a lot more sensitive to the trials and tribulations of those around us and empowered us in the knowingness that we are not alone”.

“I was introduced to Malton Women Council by one of my friends and attended one of their in-person meeting. There was so much going into my life and when I disclosed my issues, I was provided with lot of emotional support and resources for Mental health and well-being".

“I joined this group a few months ago. It’s a really beneficial program for the community. Ladies are always learning new skills that can make them independent, which is great. Also, some meetings are very entertaining as Women come together to recite spoken word, songs and have a good time. I have really enjoyed being part of this group".

“Please continue giving us such programs. Today program on Tax was outstanding. There are so many tax credits and benefits i.e home renovation in depth information etc that it should become mandatory for all accountants to share with their clients".

“I am deeply inspired by staff and the SAATH program for their dedication to helping South Asian women overcome emotional challenges and find strength through community support. Her kindness, understanding, and leadership reminds me of the importance of compassion and caregiving. Programs like SAATH show how powerful it can be when women come together to heal, support, and uplift one another”.
