BUILDING SAFER COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS IN BRAMPTON

BUILDING SAFER COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS IN BRAMPTON

Funded through Advance Brampton Fund, the Building Safer Community Connections in Brampton’ project will raise awareness of community safety issues among South Asian women, youth, and seniors in Brampton. The program will educate participants on topics such as auto theft, road safety, crime prevention, theft prevention, cyber safety, mental wellness, emergency preparedness, and more.

The goal of the project is to create a Brampton where residents are more aware of community safety and well-being information, resources, and services available to them and to improve their mental wellness. This will be achieved through online and in-person educational workshops, resource development and navigation support, and social media awareness.
