Funded by Bell Let’s Talk Diversity Fund, SAATH is a peer-based, one-on-one and group support program for South Asian women to cope with anxiety and depression linked with issues such as racism, domestic violence and immigration. Through peer and social support, training and education, and resource navigation, the project aims to reduce mental health stigma; increase ability to cope with challenges; and increase access to mental health services.

The Mind, Body, and Spirit project offers South Asian seniors with opportunities to engage in culturally and linguistically relevant recreational and educational activities that reduce isolation, promote healthy aging, increase financial security and promote awareness of elder abuse. All activities engage seniors as volunteers and mentors, promoting social participation and inclusion.
